Thelonious Monk – Lulu’s Back in Town Part 1
Thelonious Monk has been amazing fans for years with his unique approach to jazz piano. One of the most sought-after Monk albums comes from a live performance at Carnegie Hall with his quartet and John Coltrane. It was recorded live in 1957, and thanks to remastering by producers Michael Cuscuna and T.S. Monk (Thelonious Monk’s son) in 2005, the performance has been brought back to life. It is now available for download at iTunes.
