After searching the net for top 10-30 Saxophonists, I have yet to see a mention of the great Earl Bostic. John Coltranes hero. And one of the most unique & individual musicians who ever lived. For those who dont know him, check out ‘Up There in Orbit’ & prepare to be educated.

I think you have good taste. But I would move Dexter up to around number 4. And I think Eric Dolphy should be in the top 10. His At the Five Spot is one of the best live jazz recordings I have ever heard.
