Thanksgiving Dixieland Jazz Festival

This annual Thanksgiving jazz festival is known as the ‘crown jewel of jazz festivals’ in the States. Featuring some of the most talented musicians on the jazz circuit, the festival is a platform for jazz lovers to hear traditional jazz, swing and dixieland music.

The event is an annual affair and is held during Thanksgiving weekend at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center. If you’re around during Thanksgiving make sure you stop over and you may just get a chance to check out bands such as Carl “Sonny” Leyland, High Society Jazz Band and the Buck Creek Jazz Band.

Organized by America’s Finest City Dixieland Jazz Society (AFCDJS), the event marks the 29th annual Thanksgiving festival in San Diego.
