Blogspot and Twitter Feature AccuJazz Internet Radio
Leading jazz internet radio station AccuJazz.com is expanding its online footprint with a new presence on micro-blogging site Twitter and popular blogging network Blogspot.
Program director Lucas Gillan will update the two sites with info related to AccuJazz and its parent company, AccuRadio, as well as his take on noteworthy jazz news. The Twitter feed and blog will also be convenient ways for AccuJazz listeners to connect with each other and share opinions with the program director. Visitors to the blog will be able to subscribe to AccuJazz blog posts via RSS, and Twitter users will be able to “follow” AccuJazz, getting all of the updates on their own Twitter page.
To date, the AccuJazz blog has included posts about new AccuJazz channels, notable additions to the AccuJazz library, other jazz-related internet destinations, and commentary on the 2009 Grammy nominations in the Jazz category.
AccuJazz.com is home to the internet’s best multichannel jazz radio station. Currently offering 11 different jazz sub-channels, ranging in style from “Old School” to “New School,” “Latin Fusion” to “West & Cool,” there is a perfectly-tailored, customizable jazz radio station for jazz fans of every stripe. Program director Gillan adds new CDs to the AccuJazz library almost daily, and is in the midst of preparing for a major roll-out of new jazz subchannels in the new year.
