Café Cordiale and keyboardist David Garfield combine to host the 11th Annual Carlos Vega Memorial Concert on Sunday, December 7th at Café Cordiale in Sherman Oaks. Vega, whose life ended in 1998 at age 41, was a long-time member of James Taylor’s band and a highly respected studio drummer in the LA area. Funds from the event, which includes a silent auction and concert, are used to fund a drum scholarship.

The concert will feature many of the area’s best musicians including Steve Ferrone, Ralph Humphrey, Forrest Robinson, Neil Stubenhaus, Dean Cortez, Tom Brechtlein, Chuck Kavooras, John Pena, Ken Wild, James Harrah, Denny Dias, Richie Garcia, Chris Trujillo, Lee Thornburg, Adrian Tapia, Ross Bolton, Leslie Smith, Alex Ligertwood and many others.
