With an informal buffet, champagne and party favors, as well as one of the most hip bands in town, the AQ’s annual NYE party is also a relative bargain. This year, vocalist Carole Martin lights up torch songs, blues, and swinging standards with the Dave Karr Quartet. With his arsenal of horns, Dave is a perfect partner.

Surrounded by glass and overlooking the Mill District, Cue is on the main level of the Guthrie Theater, featuring one of the most consistently well executed dinner menus and upscale bar fare in town. Plus the music always shines. Tonight enjoy the swing and bop sounds of the Dean Brewington Quartet, led by veteran saxman Dean and his first-rate cohorts.
