Tufts University’s Granoff Music Center Presents A Performance By Diane Richardson: Celebrating the music of Charles Mingus

Berklee Associate Professor and Tufts Applied Music Faculty member Diane Richardson sings the music of legendary jazz artist Charles Mingus with guests Steve Hunt, piano, John Lockwood, bass, Yoron Israel, drums, Victor Mendoza, vibraphone, Bill Pierce, sax, Tiger Okoshi, trumpet, Rob Thompson, violin, Matt Marvuglio, flute, and Sa Davis, percussion. This event takes place in the Distler Performance Hall and is free and open to the public. No tickets required.
Alongside Richardson will be an absolutely stellar band, made of up of Steve Hunt (piano), John Lockwood (bass), Yoron Israel (drums), Victor Mendoza (vibraphone), Bill Pierce (sax), Tiger Okoshi (trumpet), Rob Thompson (violin), Matt Marvuglio (flute), and Sa Davis (percussion).

Tufts University’s Granoff Music Center is a brand new building devoted to the preservation, creation, and sharing of music. Distler Performance Hall, the main performance space, houses concerts featuring music from all over the country and the world.
