Nederlander Concerts in association with producer, Eddie Rodriguez and Latin Jazz Works presents the most anticipated event of the year, the 2nd Annual Greek Theatre L.A. Latin Jazz Festival. The one night only event will take place on May 16, 2009 at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale at all Ticketmaster locations on March 28, 2009.
Accoridng to producer, Eddie Rodriguez “We are bringing ‘Angelinos’ a genre of music that dates back to pianist, Jelly Roll Morton. These are the same rhythms that found their way to New York City in the 1940’s via Dizzy Gillespie, Chano Pozo, Machito and Tito Puente and are as relevant today as they were then.

Dave Samuels and the Caribbean Jazz Project, Paquito D’ Rivera, Charlie Sepulveda and the Turnaround featuring special guest, Giovanni Hidalgo and Jose Rizo’s Jazz on the Latin Side All-Stars with invited guests, Kenny Burrell and Hubert Laws.
