Members of his quintet include Eric Wyatt (tenor sax), Stephen Scott (piano), Russel Blake (bass), and Steve Williams (drums).

The performance will take place Tuesday, August 4th, 2009, and the sets are at 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

His New Album:

Reaction to Decade has been positive with encouraging reviews and considerable airplay. In his celebrated blog, jazzwax, Marc Myers wrote:

“…Anderson demonstrates a new level of maturity and offers a warm, round and
purposeful sound…his compositions are all strong and fresh, and they avoid being
derivative. Best of all, they are tailor made to show off the trombonist’s lyricism
and powerful chops…Decade is a solid work by Anderson, who clearly has a rich
musical voice, a creative vision and a comprehensive grasp of the instrument’s
tender purpose.”

Clifton Anderson’s newly revised website includes additional materials for the album, including lead sheets, solo transcriptions, a video overview, and some performance video.
