Los Angeles-based trumpeter Carl Saunders announces the immediate availability of his iPhone application. Anyone owning an Apple iPhone or iTouch can download the Carl Saunders application FOR FREE! We believe this to be the first iPhone application for any jazz artist.

The Carl Saunders application includes audio samples of every tune on two of Carl’s most successful CD’s: Be Bop Big Band (2002) and Can You Dig Being Dug? (2005). Listeners can immediately download complete tunes, or complete CD’s, from iTunes, using this application. Also included are many photos, several YouTube videos, Carl’s complete and current performance schedule, a discography, a “Fan Wall” (where users can make comments), Carl’s biography, and news.
